Santa Barbara Style

Santa Barbara is one of the most beautiful cities in California.Tucked along the Central coastline, it is a quick drive up from LA, or a longer scenic drive down from San Francisco. It has a warm Mediterranean type climate that is perfect for a warm beach getaway. In fact, Butterfly Beach is known as one of the best along the entire west coast.

Santa Barbara offers some beautiful hotels that are worth a stay. If you don’t mind being a little farther from town and want the ultimate luxury experience, Bacara Resort and Spa is for you. It offers a quiet atmosphere with vast views of the ocean, and plenty of amazing spa treatments to relax with. If you prefer to be right in the mix of downtown SB, the Santa Barbara Inn or Fess Parker both offer great vibes and plenty of amenities (Fess Parker is dog friendly as well for you fellow dog lovers!). Both are walkable to both the beach and State Street shops and restaurants.

Once you have settled into your hotel, it’s time to grab a bite to eat. Paradise Café and Brophy Bros are two highly recommended spots from the locals for good eats and a cold beverage. The night life and fun energy all along State Street is worth spending some time exploring, you will find a vibrant, fun crowd surrounding you.

A favorite shop to hit up along your journey is Angel. You can find all of the well-known denim brands there, also a ton of fun seasonal wear-including amazing swimwear. The accessories game is on point as well! I bought a new pair of white jeans that paired perfectly with the Santa Barbara Collection I packed!

Santa Barbara is a great spot to enjoy a long, relaxing vacation-or a quick stop through on your way to one of the neighboring towns-you won’t be disappointed by this relaxed, laid back town and beautiful sandy beaches.
